CD Duplication, CD Replication, DVD Duplication & DVD Replication

Below is some important details relating to your master discs and the specifications we use for cd and dvd artwork packaging. Don't worry if you don't understand all of it, simply drop us a message or give us a call and we will try to address any gray areas.

Master Disc Format

Unless you opt for us to prepare and create your master disc from the data you provide, please ensure your cd or dvd master disc is in the format you require before you send it to us.

  • For Audio CD's, please supply your masters to us as a playable audio CD. Make sure your happy with the quality, overall mix levels, track order and track spacings.
  • For DVD Video, make sure it works as intended in a DVD player. Test the DVD Authoring menu system is as you want it making sure the buttons on your dvd remote control command the correct function on the DVD. You may want to test this on several DVD players and TV sets (standard & wide screen).
  • For CD-Rom discs, i.e, discs that are solely used in PC's and MAC's you will probably want to make sure the disc has an auto-run facility when inserted into PC & MAC and ensure all files are on the disc and can be opened.
  • Of course we can offer you our Audio Mastering, DVD Authoring and CD-Rom Auto-run services. If you want any of these services then please call or email us to discuss your requirements.

  • For Qty's below 500: Outside diameter is 118mm & centre hole diameter is 26mm
  • For Qty's 500 & above: Outside diameter is 118mm & centre hole diameter is 16mm

  • Inlay: Cut to 151mm wide x 118mm high. Supply at: 157mm wide x 124mm high
  • Single Leaf Insert: Cut to 121mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at: 127mm wide x 126mm high
  • Booklet: Cut to 242mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at 248mm wide x 126mm high
  • 6 page Booklet: Cut to 363mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at 369mm wide x 126mm high
  • DVD Amaray Case
  • Inlay: Cut to 151mm wide x 118mm high. Supply at: 157mm wide x 124mm high
  • Single Leaf Insert: Cut to 121mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at: 127mm wide x 126mm high
  • Booklet: Cut to 242mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at 248mm wide x 126mm high
  • 6 page Booklet: Cut to 242mm wide x 120mm high. Supply at 248mm wide x 126mm high
  • Technical Specs
  • All artwork needs to be supplied in press quality PDF, EPS, Tiff, BMP, Photoshop PSD or high-res JPG format.
  • Maintain a resolution of at least 300 DPI (dots per inch)
  • All artwork to be in CMYK Colour Mode (NOT RGB)
  • Please allow a 3mm bleed around all paper part inlays.

Order Process

  • Once you have your Master disc and artwork complete, get it to us along with the following:
  • Your postal and invoice address
  • A printout of the quote or simply just state the quote id reference number
  • A completed declaration of Warranty & Indemnity form. This basically states that you own the rights to have the material contained on the masters and allow us to manufacture. You can download this form here.
  • For audio discs above 500 units, and were you do not own the copyright of all or part of the material contained, you will need to contact the MCPS for a clearance licence. Simply complete their online AP2 form here, or give them a call to advise you further.
  • Payment (see below)
  • If your required quantity is below 500, we will prepare a fully printed and duplicated test copy and post it to you for your approval. Once you approve this we will manufacture your chosen quantity.
  • If your required quantity is 500 units plus, we will email you digital PDF's of your artwork for you to give a final check. Once you are happy with these we will manufacture your chosen quantity.

Payment

Payment is strictly with order unless you have an account with us. If you do have an account with us, payment is 30 days net. We accept payment by cheque, cash, postal order or Paypal. Please make cheques payable to 'Bump Studios' in Pounds Sterling. To avoid delays, please ensure you enclose your payment in the package you send us.

Delivery

Our standard delivery times are up to 5 working days from approval of sample for orders below 500 units and up to 15 working days from receipt and approval of your masters for orders of 500 units plus.
